The Korean National Commission for UNESCO is recruiting qualified native English speakers to teach at the “Icheon English Village (Global Peace Village)” in Korea
The Korean National Commission for UNESCO is opening a new English village in cooperation with Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province. In our village, children (ages 11~12) will learn English communication skills and enhance their global understandings through variety of activities. As a part of the UNESCO Peace Center in Icheon, the Village is located in a beautiful countryside only an hour’s drive away f*rom Seoul. We welcome you to our new Global Peace Village and take this great opportunity to make a difference in the world.
□ Job des*cription:
-Teaching English and global issues to elementary school students (5th and 6th graders)
-8 working hours a day
-25~30 hours of teaching per week
-One year, starting October 1, 2008 (renewable)
□ Qualifications and Eligibility:
-BA degree or higher in any discipline
-Citizens f*rom Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK and USA
-Preferable;
□ Salary and other benefits:
-2.3~2.5 million won per month
-airfare reimbursement
