Part-Time English Editor Needed for the Korea Journal
The Korea Journal, quarterly Korean Studies journal with a half century of history, has an immediate need for a copy editor in its Seoul office.
*Job Description:
– Editing and revising articles for the journal
– Assisting Editor-in-Chief concerning correspondences in English
*Qualifications:
– Must be able to read, write, and speak English at the level of a native speaker.
– Advanced Korean proficiency is required.
– Must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher.
– Academic editing experience and basic understanding in Korean Studies are highly preferred.
– Must hold a working or student visa for Korea.
* Working conditions:
– Location: Korean National Commission for UNESCO in Myeongdong, Seoul.
– Salary: Between 1,200,000 won to 1,350,000 won per month (The payment will be adjusted according to the number of working days)
– Work hours: 10:00 am to 6.00 pm, 2 days a week.
