KNCU is seeking applicants for an English communications specialist position. The successful candidate will be in the level of a native English speaker with excellent skills in proofreading and editing documents as well as writing official correspondence and speeches in English.

■ Job des*cription
▶ Proofread English letters, documents, speeches and meeting recordings that have been drafted by staff of the Commission, and in cases of necessity, draw up those materials by the Employee.
▶ Proofread and edit Korea Journal, and English publications of the Commission.
▶ Proofread the English Homepage of the Commission.
▶ Evaluate the English proficiency of staff members of, job applicants and interns for the Commission, and applicants for UNESCO-related programmes.
▶ Have consultations with and support the Secretary-General of the Commission about the international activities of the Commission.

■ Qualifications and Eligibility:
▶ B.A. degree or higher f*rom universities of the countries where English is mother tongue in one of the following fields.(Education, Humanities, Social Science, Natural Science, Culture, Communication or English)
▶ Level of a Native English speaker with excellent skills in proofreading and editing documents as well as writing official correspondence and speeches in English.
▶ Preferable;
– Work experience in English writing and/or editing
