Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) under the auspices of UNESCO is a UNESCO Category II centre, working for 47 Member States in Asia and the Pacific region to promote Education for International Understanding (EIU) towards a Culture of Peace. The Centre was established in 2000 according to the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and UNESCO.
1. Post Title: Programme Officer for Education for International Understanding
○ Contract type: Fixed-term, full-time employment
○ Employment term: One year on a renewable basis subject to satisfactory service
○ Compensations and benefits: According to APCEIU’s Salary Regulations

2. Job description: Selected employee will engage in various development and management tasks for APCEIU’s EIU programmes and activities for the promotion of EIU in the Asia-Pacific region
3. Qualifications
○ Foreign nationality other than Korean from the 47 UNESCO Member States
in the Asia-Pacific region
○ Good command of English and a working-level knowledge of Korean
○ University degree preferably in Education for International Understanding
○ Good analysis skills including awareness of educational, social and cultural trends
○ Strong interest on EIU activities for the Asia-Pacific region
