| Round-table with UNESCO’s ADG for Education |

A round-table was held with Ms. Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director-General for Education at UNESCO, and the staff members of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO on 2 September at UNESCO House in Seoul. Ms. Giannini noted UNESCO’s long-standing contribution to the development of education from a humanist perspective, and its crucial role in achieving the 2030 Agenda. She also emphasized the role of education as a cross-cutting tool, as well as the ongoing need for new learning and teaching methods.
